Hello,

Few months ago, i migrated my site to another server using Akeeba backup. Everything works except i can't update the acymailing anymore. I changed my licence to the new server and domain via my subscriptions page, but every time i'm trying to update, i get the message that there is no licence is attached to my site.

And at my subscription page, when i'm using a subdomain for the acymailing should i write exactly my subdomain or the root site?

Hi,

If you would like to run Acymailing on a subdomain you have to specify the subdomain, e.g. http://sub.domain.com.

My licence is valid and not expired. I have already used the contact form twice (when the forum wasn't available), no one replied. I 'll give it a shot once more.

Hi,

it is the truth that you have contacted our ticket support twice and both times I replied to the same ticket within a minute. We never got reply back from you.

Can you please make sure that our support email is not in your blacklist or that maybe our replies didn't end up in your spam folder somehow.

Basically, please download the latest installation package from Acyba website and install it manually. You have changed your website URL from the development to the production. Wrong domain URL is written in the DB and manual installation should fix this problem. After that, you will be able to update using Joomla installation manager as usual.

I didn't receive any replies, definitely you're not in my blacklist, and i usually check my spam folder once per day. So, i don't where the problem was. You already probably know that i used the contact form for the same matter few hours ago ( if you replied, well i still didn't receive anything), but i am getting offers and emails from acymailing.

And that's my problem, i am not familiar with Joomla at all. I will overwrite the files? I' ll delete the previous version first?
Or maybe it's easier to point me to the table of DB, and change the url there manually? (I prefer that way if it is possible)

You just need to download and install using Joomla installation manager

There is no need to remove current version first

This is much easier than changing the data in the DB

Yup that was really easy. I was afraid of the term "install" instead of "update".
Problem solved, acymailing and Joomla are updated.

BTW, I did reply to your support ticket today, so please check your spam folders, your email blacklists, your email server logs. Something is clearly blocking our support email from reaching your inbox

Uhm... didn't receive anything again, nothing in my spam folder. Is it possible to tell me the email address that are you sending from, to check if a filter or something blocks your email?

You should receive our replies from support@acyba.com

Hello,
I had 3 filters to delete emails starting with support@.. but it was for specific email addresses and specific domains. No wildcards. However, i removed them in case that was the problem.
