Quota recommendation?

I just activated Enterprise with sending plan, attached domain, added CNAMEs and all is green.
I wonder is there recommended automated settings?
Number of batches? Number of mails? Every X minutes?
Previously we used our server cron to trigger sending, and we was limited to 2500 per hour
