Removing inactive subscribers V6

I saw the instructions below for bulk removing inactive subscribers on V5. Is there a similar way to remove users in V6?

You can use bulk actions (Users->Bulk actions) for this. Select Statistics as filter and then select "not opened". Next, choose the action you want to perform.

Does "not open" mean never opened?
Does it mean that the user has never opened a newsletter, even if you have sent them ten newsletters?
If is does, then I have been looking for this, for a very long time.

Hi,

Yes you can do that based on lists and even specific newsletters. At least, to some extend. A mail is marked as opened when the user displays the images (note that many mail clients do not show images by defqault) or clicks on a link.

Go to "Automations" and create a mass action if you want to perform a manual action or creeate an automatiuon if you want to run it automaticly on certain times.

You'll see different tabs where you can set your conditions, targets and actions.

Just to be clear: I want to remove anyone who has Never opened any newsletter (I've sent many newsletters over the years). There is no point keeping them on the list if they have never opened one.
Will this remove only them?
I don't want to remove anyone who has opened an email.

Hi,

You can do that, just play with the settings in the tabs to see what happens.

The best way to follow is to create a temporarely list. Create your mass action and instead of immediately deleting your users subscribe them to this temp list. You can even rule out any false positives (people who actualy read your mail but don't download your images and don't click on links) by sending a mail to the users on this temp list and ask them iof they want to continue to receive your mails by clicking on a button. When they click you unsubscribe them from your temp list. And in the end you can safely delete all users that remain on your temp list.
