First, I love ACY and you all have done a great job. That being said, since Version 5, there have been some core feature missing.
I've put a feature request in a couple times over the past years since ACYMailing 7/8 was released. Prior versions allowed you to upload a file to link to. This has been removed in 7 and 8.
I find it hard to believe no one needs to create a button or a link on the actual eblast (Not as an attachment as no one ever notices the attachment in a e-blast.
Right now you have to upload a PDF in article manager or media manager then grab the url and then go back to ACY and paste in the path to the PDF. This is crazy. ACY has been such a great program, but how do you not have a basic function to upload a file (non image) inside the editor to link to?
Does no one ever link to PDFs?
Also when is ACY Mailing going to bring back Social Media Sharing links in footer of email? This is huge.
Please comment if you want this feature, as for some reason this basic function is not included. I feel ACY is working on things that only matter to 5% of the users, and missing some core basics of a email marketing tool. Mail Chimp and Constant Contact both have the ability to share on social and also ability to upload and link to a PDF inside their email editor.
Thanks
