Popup in email

My client claims that he has seen a popup with a register-message after leaving an email. Is there a plugin for that or is it impossible. Is it at possible? I've never seen it.

I am not talking about the squeezepage-plugin for popups on the site. It is in the email.

Don't think so.
There is no way to add dynamic contents such as JS etc in the email.
So I don't think that's possible.

But if you find anything about this then let me know!
