Bounce statistic is always 0

Hello,

When I send a newsletter, the bounce statistic is always 0. I have this point configured according to the documentation, but it doesn't work for me.

Are there any known issues with this?

Hi,

Please provide us with more information. Are you 100% sure you should have received bounces? Do you have the Starter version or one of our commercial versions that offer auomatic bounce handling? Do you use O365 or Goole Suite?

Yes, I'm sure I have rebound. I access my mailbox and there they are (some in spam). It is a Google email account. Our version is Enterprise, that is, the paid one.

I have doubts about the "Enable automatic bounce handling" option, as I don't have it checked. Is it necessary to do so for me to manage it? Also, if they reach Spam, I understand that they will not be recorded in the statistics, only those that are in the inbox.

Finally, is it also necessary to have cron activated?

Hi,

The cron is needed for all your atomatic tasks like sending scheduled campaigns, automations and automatioc bounce handling.

The bounce handling comes with a predefined set of rules that will handle your bounces automaticly. The bounces that are not recognized will be forwarded to you, so you can manually handle these. Please be aware that not each bounce will be counted as a bounce. For example, out of the office messaged ar discarded and deleted. These are just an automated reply and will therefor not be counted as bounces.

You can run the bounce handling manually to check if everything is working.

Hi jvstratum!

I have made several attempts with your instructions but it doesn't work. Rebounds are not reflected in the statistics. The only thing I have not tried due to incompatibility with the server is using IMAP, all the tests have been through POP3.

Any ideas? I also don't know how to manually launch bounce handling.
