Access Levels

I've just installed v6 on a new site, having previously used v5 on several other sites. It's all working well but I can't find the Access Levels setup to restrict access to Joomla users. Can anyone enlighten me?

Hi,

The ACL has not been added to v6 yet. It will come back for sure, but I don't know where it is on Acyba's priority list.

Please keep in mind that v6 is still in development and Acyba has enabled us to use v6 during this development instead of keeping us waiting until it is finished.

Feel free to add ACL as a feature request on Acyba's website (https://www.acyba.com/community/feature-requests.html) so other users can upvote it. It might get it higher on the priority list.

I didn't realise that v6 was so far away from being a production release, I do think there should be more information on the download page, Access Level control seems a pretty crucial part of any Joomla software. I've now spent a day creating a template (which was pretty easy so congrats for that) and now I have to install v5 and recreate the template to avoid my users accidently trashing the v6 template.

Version 6 is stable. Acyba is doing a tremendeous job recoding 10 years of development into version 6. They do everything they can to bring back all v5 features as soon as possible. And they never can do it right as we all have other priorities about specific features.

Are you just trying to restrict your users to the Templates feature or something else?

What kind of restrictions do you want to make?
