How to create automatic send process cron

When I attempt to set the automatic send process to send 200 emails every 5 minutes, I get an error saying that I can only set it to 15 minutes "unless you create your own cron".

How do I create my own cron that will trigger automatic send process every 5 minutes?

I would note that I have no server restrictions for email sending and according to the documentation:

A special URL is called by our server every 15 minutes to handle automated tasks, but it's also triggered on every page loaded on your website if you decide to send every 5 minutes or send multiple batches at once for example. If you set to send emails every 5 minutes you'll need users to visit your website every 5 minutes.

However, that can't be working right because my site has way more than 1 visitor every 5 minutes, yet the send process take 5+ hours to send around ₂,000 emails.

Please advise how to fix this issue.

In your second post you mention the cron being triggered by your website visitors. This is a feature in v8 and will not work in v5.
To see the old v5 documentation you should switch to the old version in the top left corner.

Please note that the support for v5 will end by the end of January 2024. Acymailing v5 and v8 can co-existence on the same site. Both versions have their own separate database tables, menu items, and modules. We strongly reccommend to start to familiarize yourself with v8 and its features.
