Joomla\CMS\HTML\HTMLHelper acyselect not found.

5's are Wild!
I'm using ACYmailing v5. I just updated to Joomla v.5.0. I can open it up HOWEVER, it is unusable. Joomla\CMS\HTML\HTMLHelper acyselect not found was the error message. Any clue how I can fix this? Thank you ahead of time!

AcyMailing 8 is not yet tested or prepared to work with Joomla 5. I am afraid that there is no workaround until our developers actually adjust the code to J5 framework

To be honest, if I would have a live website, I wouldn't use Joomla 5 just yet. At least for a few more releases, until everything falls into the right place

Hi,

Let me jump in to add that version 5 will not be adapted to Joomla 5.

Please note that the support for v5 will end by the end of January 2024. Acymailing v5 and v8 can co-existence on the same site. Both versions have their own separate database tables, menu items, and modules. We strongly reccommend to start to familiarize yourself with v8 and its features.

jvstratum Thank you. Apparently, I have some work to do to convert my v5 to v8! I hope this can all be done using Joomla v5??????????

Sorry for my first reply, where I mentioned AcyMailing 8. Somehow I didn't see that this is all about AcyMailing 5 🤔

Yes, you can use v8 with Joomla 5. If you're smart you wait for Joomla 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 so you can be sure that any initial Joomla 5 issues have been resolved.
