Latest version is not updating

Hello,

I am trying to first uninstall the acymailing component but it is not allowing me to from the admin side. I deleted it from the file manager on the host server and it still shows up in the extension manager on the admin side.

I had been using version 5(latest) and wanted to upgrade to version 8(latest) but it seems as though everything is now stuck. I need to update or uninstall the component in order to update the website to the latest J4 version.

Please suggest?

Does anyone have any ideas to help out here? I've deleted the files in the file manager, the admin side still shows the files and I cannot uninstall them.
