Eventbooking reminder email

Hi,
I try to find the best way to achieve that i want, because the doc is a bit confusing for me.

I want to create for example 1 event per week (a webinar event).
I want to send reminder email 3 days before / 1 day before / 1 hour before / 10 minutes before each event.
So as i understand, the best way i thing is to make an automation with eventbooking trigger for my need (3d, 1d, 1h, 10min before).

But the goal is to have one type of automation with one type of email, because i dont want to have to create new email each time i create a new event. So i dont understand if is it possible.

If i create automation with for example 3 days before an event start in all categories, i can make an action to put an email in the waiting list (if i am correct), but is it at this point i am lost.

Can i make 4 general emails with the (3d, 1d, 1h, 10min before) informations with the event information, dynamically generated for the user ? I dont really understand the eventbooking addon for that.

Can i create an email with eventbooking information with Zoom connection info for the event the user register for only ? And without need to create new email with Zoom info for each event ?

Hi,

To achieve this you would need to setup an Automation for each moment you would like to send a reminder. You can add the same email to each Automation, so you need to create the email only once.

Please be careful with the short time intervals just before the event starts. By default your cron url gets triggered once every 15 minutes. If you need shorter time intervals the best way to go is to setup your own cron task.

I dont understand from your doc how i can make an email with the dynamic informations of the event the user register for ?

Hi,

I was wrong, you actually can use one Automation for all reminders.

You need to create an Automation that will be triggered one week before the event, since this is the moment you want to send your first reminder.

On the Actions tab select "Add an email to the queue" and create your reminder email

Next, click on "Add action"

Again, select "Add an email to the queue" and click on "Choose existing" and select the previous created email. Acymailing will make a copy of it. Then head over to the time field and set a relative time compared to the time the Autmation is triggered. (not the event start time!)

Repeat the last step until you have all your reminders.

OK thank you for that. I have to test it.
But i still dont understand for the part of the dynamic email to create with the event informations...

Can you clarify that please ?

You mean the Automatic campaign? That's an automatic email that checks if there are any events to be inserted in the email. It just pulls in the event information. That's not suitable for reminders. I suggest you create such a campaign to see how it works.

Ok, i try to explain more.

If i create an automation, i select Eventbooking reminder.
Here i can select for example 5 days before AN EVENT in A CATEGORY.
So it is a general selection, because i cant select the event here at this time.

So now i go to the action tab and i add an email to the queue. I create an email.
In the target tab, i can select my event, so like that it will work.

But, like that, i have to create reminder automation + reminder email each time i have a new event.

So my initial question was is it possible to have one reminder automation and one reminder email (one per 1 day, 1 per 3 day, etc) fro ALL the new event i create ?

But for that the system need to fill the events info in the reminder emails in a dynamic way.

You see what i mean. But i thing as your explanation it is not possible ?

I thing i can just change the settings of the automation target tab, but for the information email, i have to rebuilt it each time ?

The Automation will be triggered for EACH event one week in advance. On the target tab you select the subscribers you want to send the emails to. So this will work dynamicly for all your events.
