Stop processing follow up email if user clicks on a button

Hi,
is there any way to stop follow up emails for a user if they click on a button?

We have a series of 10 followup emails which all prompt the user to reply to our email. If they click on the current email to reply, we want to stop future emails in this follow up sequence from being sent to that user (as they would no longer be relevent given they have taken the call to action.

I can't see how to do this. Is there any guidance?

The only way to achive this is to setup an Automation that unsubscribes a user from a follow-up once they have clicked a link in an emal.
