Hi there,

I have an issue when sending an automatic campaign. The E-Mail contains articles by category and the title is displayed in the mail. So far so fine. It works, but the link in this title refers to "index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=xxx" instead of the URL (SEF-URL) of the article. This leads to the problem that the title is not correctly displayed when opening the article from the email.

This behavior is since some months now but I always forgot to ask. I could not find anything in the documentation.

I appreciate you help! Thanks in advance
Florian

Hi,
I am facing the same issue
For all newsletters the ReadMore Links are for example
/fr/?view=article&id=326:circulation-des-oeuvres-litteraires&catid=40
while the SEF URL of that article
/fr/progr-culture/aides/aides-europe-creative/circulation-des-oeuvres-litteraires

This has 2 main consequences:

  • there is no breadcrumb on the page (while there is a nice & useful breadcrumb on the SEF URL)
  • there is a different color theme for each section of the website, so the right color is not applied

Is this an issue that wil be fixed in the next version?
Or is there an Option somewhere to get SEF urls that I overlooked?

Txs!

    Hi @jvstratum

Yes indeed there is a support ticket for the support team bc it is for a Pro Licence.
And I already got a first answer, txs!

But this is not "cross-posting" in my view:

    • the forum is there to create a community of Acymailing Users helping each other
    • and since the question was raised already, an answer here can also decrease the number of Support Tickets as well
    • and sometimes there are also different ways to solve a problem, a smart trick etc. The more ideas the better

    Txs for your understanding
