Article custom fields in Article add-on -> Custom View

Hi there, how I can insert article custom fields and control their view thru Edit Custom View? There is are no custom fields in Dynamic content list, only Joomla's native fields. In my situation I'm using dedicated custom fields for newsletter title, text, call to action button as well as dedicated image. Also instead of inserting image it inserts field label and field value (image url as a text instead of tag).

Hi,

Unfortunately custom fields have not been added to the custom view of the article add-on yet. It's on the ToDo list of our developers, but I can't give you an indication when this will be added.

Regarding the imge url as text I inform you that this is by design. You need to wrap the image tag inside an html <a> element. Within the custom view you have to add all the html and css classes yourself, so you have full control over the view.

Please keep in mind that we need to wrap custom fields with link to the article. And field labels should be separated from field values. Something similar to:

{field-name1:field-label} {article-link} {field-name1:field-value} {/article-link}

Right now there is no option to disable field label.

I would really like to see the options to add Custom Fields to the Custom View!
That way the view would really be powerful!
