As the title says, I am getting this error when trying to preview a newsletter in v5.13.0 on Joomla 4.4.4:
imagecopyresampled(): Argument #2 ($src_image) must be of type GdImage, false given
I have the same versions of AcyMailing and Joomla on another site and it works fine. They are both using JCE Editor Pro v2.9.71. Any clues?

I should add that even if I remove all images from the newsletter the error persists.

We have announced many times in the past year and last few months that at the end of January 2024, we are stopping support for AcyMailing 5 and that we won't provide support for it after that date

OK understood, but since this is a public forum I was hoping somebody else had run into the same issue with v5 and had a solution. Both installs are on the same server, have all of the exact same system parameters including using the PHP version, GD library settings, Joomla version, etc., so until I can migrate to v9 I'm stuck finding a solution. By the way it doesn't matter which editor I use either.

Regarding migrating to v9, what is protocol for using article tags? We used this extensively in v5 but they don't carry over to v9 templates.

Acymailing v9 is build around the new drag & drop editor. When you migrate from v5 to v9 your templates are imported as html templates that can be edited with your website's html-editor.

The available add-ons integrate nicely in the drag & drop editor and will not work with the html-editor. You can keep using the html-editor, but you need to add the tags manually and you might misss out on features.

It is recommended to rebuild your templates in the new drag & drop editor. Once you are familiar with it you will surely love all the features it offers.
