Send process running in parallel detected

I have no CRON setup and I only clicked once on SEND NOW. And it constantly keeps giving this message.
Version 6 keeps giving me headaches and the prices are ridiculously high. And I am now so super close with just going to another component.

I have no CRON I don't want no CRON our server is setup so it can send out massive amounts of emails at once but somehow Acymailing makes it an absolute nightmare to send out mails.

I am now sending mails one by freaking one. Due to: Send process running in parallel detected, the system stopped but you will be able to resume it

How to stop this stupid parallel thing.

PS: I am fed up.

PS2: Why is there not a button that says stop all the processes so that we can then click on Send Now and there is no parallel stuff happening. I just needed to send a newsletter on a Saturday which should only take a maximum of an hour but now it is going to take the entire afternoon.

And seeing on the number of forum messages with the same kind of titles there is seriously something wrong!

PS3: The settings are also setup that it only allows for manual sending.

Can you give an overview how you configured your manual send process and mail settings yoiu use and how many mails you need to send within the hour you mentioned.

I had some more time to look into this. All info I find about running a send process in parallel is related to cron jobs. You wrote you had configured the send process to "manual only". Could you also check if you actually disabled the cron job?

In Configuration->Queue process click on "create/edit cron task" and make sure it is set to "no"

Thanks for the reply. ...had the same issue... turned off "Automatic" Sending and it cleared it up.
