Acymailing detailed statistics per user

Dear support,
our customer is interested in anonymous aggregated data, but he asked us to disable the detailed statistics per user.
He does not want to track which specific user opened the newsletter or clicked a link.

I see that we can disable both "Track clicks with Acymailing" and "Track links for external websites", but will it work as our customer wishes? And will the global aggregated statistics be penalized that way?

Hi,

Disbling tracking will affect your global statistics as well. Best way to go would be to continue to track your campaigns and configure Acymailing to automaticly delete the detailed statistics for the user. That way your global statistics keep working.

You'll find the setting in Acymailing->Configuration on the tab Data Collection.

Is 0 weeks a valid input to automatically delete them?

If you set it to zero it will never delete the user's detailed statistics. The minimum interval is one week.

As a side note, clearing the detailed statistics is a daily task. If you never have used this feature before it may take several days before all existing detailed statistics are deleted.

Isn't any way to avoid having those detailed statistics?
A week is still a big interval to keep stored data that my customer doesn't wish to have (privacy policy issues).
