Sending a motto (article) every day (automatic campaign)

Hi everyone, I'm asking for help, advice: I need to send out a specific motto (quote text) every day via an automatic campaign. I have the "Quotes of the Day" article category as a data source. How should I prepare the source data (date of creation or date of publication) and how should I set up an automatic campaign to show me the right quotes on the right days? I will add source data (articles) to the category. (The current status is that I have 60 articles in the category and will be adding more and more). I need to have control over the texts I send. Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

Note: In the automatic campaign settings for selecting articles from a category, there is only the setting to send newly created articles or new or modified articles, there is no option to select by publication date or by highest ID. When I want to prepare the articles to be published gradually with emi, I can create 100 articles in 1 day, but I will set a different publication date for them. For me, it is a certain lack and limiting. I would like to work with articles (send them) according to the date of publication. What is your experience working with it?

Hi,

The automatic campaign looks at your created, modified and published dates. When the campaign runs it looks for new articles since the last time the campaign was executed. If it finds a new created article which is not published (or has a publish date in the future) it won't add the article to the campaign. Whenever you publish the article the automatic campaign will add the article the next time the campaign is executed.

The condition for displaying the content in the campaign states "created / published" (in info note). They are quite different and essential parameters.

Yes, that is what I explained to you. If you still have any doubts, you can easily check thing by running a test campaign.

Create a temp list with only you as subscriber. Create a test category and add some articles to it. Publish the first one and publish the other with a future publishing date on every half hour. Setup your automatic campaign to run hourly on the hour.
