Upgrade to Joomla 5

Hello,

We are upgrading to Joomla 5. Our Acymailing version is 9.6.0.

There are two options to upgrade Joomla to 5.0:

Upgrade MySQL 5.7.44 to 8.1
Change the Database to MariaDB 11.1.0 from the current MySQL 5.7.44.

Our host is recommending MariaDB. Will there be any issues, if we change to MariaDB?
