newsletter templates broken

hi all,
some months ago I transferred my website from joomla to wordpress and I changed my hoster.
Now I need to send a newsletter, so I go to templates choose my template. I enter some changes, try to save my work and boom - a block editor appears with no content at all.
And I can't really save my work. Tried to copy the template and try again - no success.
Seems the transfer from Joomla to Wordpress broke all my templates.

I'm ready to use some other free templates but found not really any good site.
any tipps?
