Follow Up email being sent multiple times even when not active

I tried to create my first follow up email yesterday. I selected "send once". The trigger is that a user subscribes to a list.
The delay is set to +1 minute. I then tested the process by signing up to the list with a test email account.
I have been receiving the same follow up email every 15 minutes since signing up.
I went back into the settings and deactivated the follow up email so it now shows as a red X on the "active" column, but I am still receiving the same email every 15 minutes.
What should I do to fix this so that it works as expected?

Hi,

We have announced many times in the past year that at the end of January 2024, we are stopping support for AcyMailing 5 and that we won't provide support for it after that date.

Hi,

Can you run a database integrity check and see if that resolves your issue? You'll find the database inegrity check in Acymailing->Configuratuion->Security. Once there open the Advanced section and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I deleted the email and tried again and it is behaving in exactly the same way.

Hi,

There is a loop option for follow-up campaigns, but only for the ones created through the REST API. It shouldn't be active on the ones created from the AcyMailing interface.

Could you open your database and check the table xxx_acym_followup the value in the column "loop"? It should be set to "0".

The "send_once" column should have the value "1".

You will have to use some tool, like PHPMyAdmin. Please search the internet how to do it or contact your hosting support. We really can't provide such fundamental service here

The database tables contain the correct values.
