I am just starting out with ACY V9 on Joomla. I just updated to V. 9.8.0 from V.5
What is happening is that when I insert an article in the newsletter, the picture displays fine, but the text leaves a large blank space.
What is even more infuriating is that sometimes the text displays fine for a second or two and then disappears again. I also noticed hyperlinks display in their place and with the right color, so eventually I discovered that the text is there, but it's white on white.
Nowhere I defined the article text as having a white font.
I finally edited the main block of the newsletter, targeted the beginning of each article, where the inline CSS made the text 18pt, white and with 100% line-height and I changed that in bulk across the newsletter but just for the article text.
That's neither time consuming nor difficult, but it cannot possible be the way it's supposed to work, however, I could not find a better way to do it.
I am having the same issue with some dynamic text, such as the one used for "Dear [NAME], this week...."
No matter what I do, that text is white. I opened the source and found, indeed color: #ffffff" so I changed it and pasted it back in.
No dice. After saving it reverts to being white (on light grey) which makes it different from the rest of the text and an eyesore.
Even more infuriating is that in some of the past newsletters I created to test V.9, I had the same issue, but eventually it resolved itself. I just don't know how. I don't know if something I did resolved the issue of White on White text or if something else affected it.
Has anyone seen this before? Is it a known issue? I did some searching, but found mostly irrelevant results.
