subscription module alignment

Hi there!
Well because Joomla doesn't make it easy to update, I needed quite some time to have enough pressure to update to v4. Therefore, I also needed to update acymailing, and I updated it to the version 9.8.1
Now I ran into the problem, that the subscription module was not updated, and as I created a new one, it's not aligned in the right way anymore. I read a lot in different forums etc., but after two days of frustrating and tiring experimentation, I feel like it's the only way to ask for help here.
So I just need to center the subscription form and make it 80% of the whole window width. I have read that I need to change the css - and did so, with no success.
So please, don't advise me to just "change your custom css", but help me and give me detailed information of where to change what. Sorry if I sound rude, I'm just really tired because it shouldn't be a big issue to solve this but I can't find my error.
The website is sill on the latest Joomla 3, PHP 8.1.29.

Hi,

In the module settings you can choose to display the form horizontal or vertical. These are using tables. If you select "Tableless", AcyMailing will use <div> elements to display your fields so you can customize them the way you want via CSS.

If you wish to customize the layout, we recommend having a basic understanding of CSS inside-out or consulting a professional who can assist with this task. Please note that CSS customization falls outside the scope of our support.
