Hello,

we get the following error messages from many subscribers:

Mail is displayed incorrectly:

{trans:ACYM_CONFIRM_MESSAGE}
{trans:ACYM_CONFIRM_MESSAGE_ACTIVATE}

{confirm}{trans:ACYM_CONFIRM_SUBSCRIPTION}{/confirm}

Is this because the server cannot display HTML or text mail?

Should I offer a selection field for HTML or Text Mail in the form?

Hi,

This is not related to html or text mail. When rendering the mail the {trans:...} tags should be replaced with language strings and the {confrim} ... {/confirm} should be replaaced with an activation link. For some reason these are not replaced.

Please download the latest Acymailing version from Acyba's website and install it again. If that does not resolve the issue, please check which languages you have installed in Jooma and make sure you have the same languages in Acymailing (Configuration->languages). Next, check in each Acymailing language file if the language constants (like ACYM_CONFIRM_MESSAGE) are present.
