Joomla 5 compatibility mode plugin

For the moment all my Joomla sites run with the the backward compatibility plugin enabled.
I'am now testing all the components that i use, to see if they can run with the compatibility plugin disabled.
From experience I know that disabling compatibility mode with components that are not suitable for runnig
in native Joomla 5 can crash the Joomla management dashboards to the point that I have to restore the
site from backup.

I spent a lot of time searching the ACYmail website for a confirmation but could not find any statement
that confirms this.

So my question is: Does ACYmail run in native Joomla 5 mode ?

I can confirm that the current v9 version can work without the compatibility plugin.
