I have seen post on this subject that are rather olds and I would like an update on how to use our own cron and what about having the licence attached to the domain we want to use.
- It is clear that the licence can be attached to one domain only. That fair enough.
- It is also clear that if any one wants to test a clone of his site, il is possible to detach the orignal site/domain and to attache the licence to the site un der test. That also fair enough.
- If the site is attached, we have the benefit to Acymailing cron task and unless someone wants to have less or more than every 15 mn, there is no need to create a cron task on our server or host.
- Therefore : It is possible to use Acymailling without linking the licence to a domain and to use our own cron task.
I do not criticize Acymailling : The product is fantastic.
I just want to know what's possible and if it is possible what are the need on the cron task CLI or not, url, weget, etc. My site says it should an URL https://my-domain.xxx/index.php?option=com_acym&ctrl=cron&task=cron an when I use this on my mutual host, nothing works and support is not helpful.
