ahardy42 Hi, I got this in my subscriber list, so I manually deleted them. I checked up on what to do about it and found AcyChecker, which I have installed, but I don't know if it will stop the spammer/hacker whoever it is.
jvstratum Hi, It's all a matter of protecting your website (and forms) against bots and spammers. You can start to add recaptcha to your subscription form. Acymailing supports it in the commercial versions. Other then that there are many ways to better protect your website against bots and spammers.
ahardy42 So these are bots doing this and not an actual person adding them manually? I can't imagine any defence against manual entry by a poor slave in Laos somewhere. I haven't tried it yet because I deleted them manually, but would these email addresses pass the AcyChecker tests?
mihha AcyChecker wouldn't catch those email addresses because as it seems those are valid Gmail addresses
