1406: 1406 Data too long for column 'key' at row 1

Hello, I'm using Joomla version 6.0.1 and ACY Mailing version 10.6.7. When I try to import the subscribers from my old ACY Mailing version 5.11.8, I get error message 1406: 1406 Data too long for column 'key' at row 1. What's causing this and how can I fix it?
