Issues with unsubscribe page

Hi, on my site, when a user clicks "unsubscribe" from an email, they are redirected to an unsubscribe page. On there, there's an option to uncheck the newsletter they're subscribed to and press "update". However, this only works when a users is logged in. We only have logged in spaces for admin - so is there a way around this? The "unsubscribe from all" button works fine.

Hi,

Please check this setting in Acymailing->Configuration->Subscrption. If it's disabled set it to Only their subscription or otherwise to Yes.

Hi - unfortunatley that doesn't do anything. The problem seems to be that the "update my preferences" button does nothing at all, as if it's not an active button.

Are there any workarounds for this?

Which acymailing version number do you have?

It's 10.8.0.

Could this be a caching issue? It seems fine when I'm logged in - just wondering if that could be the cause.

Did you try to delete your server cache and browser cache?

Hi,

Yes, caches cleared - the following settings have been in place for a day now, so all caches will have properly cleared. An incognito window doesn't help either. The button just doesn't do anything at all unless I'm logged into the site.

To be honest, this is slightly worse because it hides the "unsubscribe from all" button - and that one was actually working!

I can send you a link to the unsubscribe page if you want and you can see what I mean.

Hi,

The button is not working because you have a Javascript error on that page.

If the error occurs when you are not loggedin but not when you are logged in chances are it's a caching issue. Can you check if the issue is gone when disabling cache (espacially lscache) on your server?
