How to Start From in drag and drop?

Hi,

it doesn't seem possible to duplicate or 'start from' with the drag and drop templates - unless I am missing something? Do we have to build all drag and drop templates from scratch? We can't even save as template from the campaign newsletter like we used to be able to in version 5x.
Is there any way I can replicate a drag and drop template without having to do all the work again?

I had already tried that. In HTML version this feature works but in version 6 Drag and Drop it doesn't - no templates appear in the list - even when I select the tags for a template it doesn't appear. Nor do I get any option to save a thumbnail for the templates in Version 6

Hi,

For the html templates you can't set a thumbnail yet in v6. That's something that is already on Acyba's todo list.

As for the templates you create with the drag & drop editor thumbs are automaticly generated. When clicking "start from" both the html and drag & drop editor only show you the templates that belong to that specific editor.

Try for yourself. Create a template with the drag & drop editor and save it. Then create a second one and click on the "start from" option. You should see the first one.

Hi,
I have tried it. When I select Start From in the Drag and Drop no templates are available for selection (even though they exist). I downloaded and re-installed the latest version and also ran the Security/database check, then created a new drag and drop template. When saved it now shows the thumbnail. However it still doesn't allow me to select a previously built template when I uses the drag and drop Start from. (it works correctly in the HTML editor - just not drag and drop).
