Confirm every new subscription of a user

Hello,

I see in Users overview of lists 4 status fields: "unsubscribed", "no subscription", "waiting confirmation", "subscrbed".
My user has already confirmed his mail address to subscribe to another list.
Now if he wants to join another list, the status should change to "waiting confirmation" and another confirmation mail will be sent. after the user clicks, the subscription is confirmed.

Currently, I can't get this behaviour. If I resend the confirmation mail with {confirm}text{/confirm} link, I only get a message "you already have confirmed your mail" when I click on the link.

How would I implement this?

Hi,

This is not possible and not needed to be GDPR compliant. You only need a double opt-in to add the user to your database.

You do need to offer a possibility to unscubscribe in each and every mail you send.
