Custom field conversion

Hello,

I want to extend my users filed to have separate first and lastname fields.
1) How do I update all my existing users to the new field structure?
2) The original name field has the value from Joomla users, but now it should only contain the lastname. Should I create a new lastname field and hide the "name" field with joomla name?
3) is there a documentation on if-tags ? I want to differentiate the opening of my letters based on certain fields.

Hi,

That would give you a lot of hassle. You can stick with first and lastname in the name field and have Acymailing to display only the first name. You can add the first name with a tag. To do this click in the toolbar of the text editor in the top right corner on the ":" (semicolon) sign to add dynamic text. You'll find it on the tab Subscriber.
