504 Gateway Time-out

Hello,
I'm using AcyMailing Essential : 5.10.4 and an external STMP server on Joomla 39.15 since 2017 and all work fine.
But on our last newsletter, after 2500 sending on 7100 the queue has been stopped.
Since, I've got a 504 Gateway Time-out errors every time I try to send something.
I've tried to change the limit per session, I've changed the max_input_time and the max_execution_time to 120 on PHP settings... but that doesn't help.
Please, I need help.

Hi,

You could try to decrease the number of mails that is send per batch. You can set this in Configuration->Queue process.

In case you need further assistance please inform us about the configuration of your queue process, the kind of smtp service you are using and if your newsletter inlcudes large attachments.

Thank you for your replya nd sorry for the long silence.
After investigation, I discovered that the blocking comes from the host who blacklisted the server IP.
I still do not understand how it is possible because it is not the server which sends the emails, but an external SMTP server.
To go further, the host asked me to send him an EML version of the email. How can I provide this format from Acymailing?

Hi,

The mail is send by the smtp server, but originates from your server. There are numereous ways, not limited to Acymailing, that can cause your server to be blacklisted.

To my knowledge you can not export eml files from Acymailing. A good place to start troubleshooting would be to check your campaign/newsletter with Acymailings integrated spam test feature.
