WHY does Acymailing Not Find My License on Updates?

I have a number of sites that are using licensed versions of Acymailing. I repeatedly get warnings that updates are available yet when I go to update the extension, I'm told a valid extension update isn't found, or a license file isn't attached to an installation. It is frustrating to the point that I'm likely going back to Mailchimp and not paying for renewals since it is causing me additional work.

Hi,

You license has not been attached properly for some reason. Please try the following.

Go to Acymailing->Configuration->License
Check if you license is attached.
If not attached, just attach your license key: https://docs.acymailing.com/setup/configuration/license#attach-your-website-with-your-license-key
If it was attached unlink your license, click save and attach your license again.

Guys, the reason for this problem is the fact that you probably migrated your site from one domain to another, which created a havoc in the Joomla update sites DB tables

Solution for this problem is actually quite simple.

Go to Joomla Installation manager and under the Update sites find AcyMailing entry
remove AcyMailing entry
install manually an update or the same version that you already have

This procedure will properly add new entry to the Update sites Joomla DB tables and all future updates should work without any problems

mihha Where can I do that in J!4 ? I have this problem after migrating website from J!3 to J!4 because I create a second website on dev.domain.ch and then I delete the J!3 website and new website move from dev.domain.ch to domain.ch
And now, update system won't update AcyMailing because a license is not attached to dev.domain.ch

@AlainR You really need to search the internet for CMS related features

Joomla Update sites is a feature of Joomla, and we can't provide support for that part

I was there but I found only 3 or 4 websites and no AcyMailing. I try again and I find everything. Sorry for the trouble and thank you for the quick help!
