The paradigm shift from 5 to 6 is proving extremely frustrating for me.
First off, I find the image file browser extremely slow and unresponsive. Is there a setting to invoke the default Joomla one?
Second, is there any documentation specific to version 6? Particularly in relation to setting up "smart-newsletters" similar to those we've been using in version 5. I get that these might be called "templates" now and that "campaigns" might be able to automate sending, but I don't see any intuitive means to automatically pull in content and generate periodic newsletters.

ED: Found a bit of documentation. It's hard to read (very faint on screen), but has helped a bit

The file browser you're talking about is the one in the campaign to choose the attachments?

You can find the new documentation of AcyMailing here, it's not 100% finished but this is but it's cleaner than the old one 🙂

I am referring to the image file browser (manager?), i.e. when I want to insert a picture file into the template. Typically I am waiting for a minute or more for the file browser to present me with a usable cursor.

I pretty much have my head around i now.

However the lack of plugins as available in version 5 is pretty much a deal breaker for us, so we'll wait to see what happens.

Hi,

The image file browser is not handled by our plugin but by your browser, if you're using i.e I recommend you to change to chrome.

As we started from scratch for AcyMailing 6 and changed the plugins system so it would be usable for Joomla and WordPress we need time to do them all.
