Remove a language from the Configuration >Languages > Translation -list

Hello,
Does anyone know how to delete a language from the Configuration >Languages > Translation -list of languages? For some reason Italian language is in this list, and I don't need this. Thanks!

You have to remove certain language from Joomla languages manager and after that, this particular language won't be visible in AcyMailing

But that is the weird thing. I don't have this language in my language manager. So that's why it is weird that language appears in the language list...

I have the same issue, can you please outline the steps required to remove a language in Acymailing 8 when it is not showing in the Joomla 4 Language Manager?

Dis you check both Langusges and Content languages?

Yes, Languages (Site and Admin) and Content Languages only show English.
If I click Install Languages Italian is shown as an install option, meaning it is not installed.
However Acymailing still thinks I want Italian,
I think it is a database remnant from the Joomla 3 site, any suggestions?

Let me jump in

Try to check your /languages folder and also /administrator/languages folder in Joomla and make sure there are no remnants of the unwanted languages there

Thank you Mihha, you were spot-on, there were two Italian folders with files and remnants, not sure where they came from but not used so simply removed the folders/files and problem solved!
