Blank mails to distribution lists

Hi,

Have any of you had an issue with e-mails sent to distribution lists having the mail body text "stripped"?

I've been testing this morning and it seems that the issue may be related to the way ACYMailing is parsing the incoming mail.
I’ve run multiple tests today and when sending from a PC Outlook client or webmail (gmail), the mail always seems to be correctly received with the body text included. However, when sending from Mac Mail or iPhone, the mail body is usually blank, but occasionally (just occasionally) it is received.

I have an open support ticket, but just asking here if the wider community has seen the same.

I see the same problem of empty emails in some cases not clearly identified.

I'm not sure if the issue I faced is the same as yours.

I was seeing the following behaviour when sending to distribution lists:

Mail from iPhone (IOS 15.1) > mailing list - resulting mail from ACYmailing missing body content
Mail from Apple Mac (Monterey 12.0.1) > mailing list - resulting mail from ACYmailing missing body content
Mail from iPad (old IOS 12.5.5) > mailing list - resulting mail from ACYmailing correct (body included)
Mail from Gmail webmail > mailing list - resulting mail from ACYmailing correct (body included)
Mail from PC with Outlook > mailing list - resulting mail from ACYmailing correct (body included)
Mail from Office365 webmail > mailing list - resulting mail from ACYmailing correct (body included)

I worked with Jérémy from the ACYmailing support team and the the fix was to add a line 464 to the file ...../com_acymailing/helpers/bounce.php
$this->message->text variable, leaving the $this->message->html variable empty (the one used to build the newsletter from the parsed email). The support team converted the return lines into <br /> html tags then used the $this->_message->text value to build the newsletter that will be forwarded. This now works as expected.

I'd expect that as my ACYmailing (AcyMailing Enterprise 5.10.23) is completely standard, that the above would be added to the next release as a critical fix.

Thank you for this feedback. Our problem seems the same as yours.
We are also in AcyMailing Enterprise version 5.10.23 and I opened a tiket to AcyMailing support. I think they will give me the corrective.
