Hi, why is it not possible to use the image drag n drop module for adding a link to a PDF?

Suppose to insert a link to a pdf file into your Wordpress media library: is it not possible at the moment to use the Image content module. It seems very good to insert jpg or png file into your newsletter campaign but is not useful for pdf

It doen't work in Joomla either, it's related to Acymailing's block editor. Then again, your using an image block and a pdf is not an image. It would be nice to be able to add pdf's like you can add images though. Please feel free to add it as a feautere request on Acyba's website (https://www.acyba.com/community/feature-requests.html), so other users can upvote it.

Right now you can still add your pdf as an attachment to your mailing. You can select to embed it as a file or as a link at the bottom of your mail in your config options.

Yes, this has always been an issue since ACY moved to versions 7 and 8. This is the only thing about ACY for the most part that is not good. This is a common function that everyone needs and it's crazy that ACY doesn't give the ability to make it easy to link to a PDF inside the block editor. Why isn't there an upload file vs image feature.

Hard to expect my clients to upload the PDF first in an article then grab the url + add the domain name, then go back into ACY and insert the link. Just crazy. Maybe instead of working on new features that are not basic, work on something that every other email marketing platform has.

I know there is an attachment function, but we recipients don't look for that, and we need links inside the email to go to documents.
