The archive view is saved when you actually send a campaign, hence it is an archive. Archives don't change otherwise it wouldn't be an archive.
There's a workaround though. You can make the changes you want, add a segment to the campaign and select your own email as a filter so you will be the only receiver. On the summary tab it will ask you if the campoaign should be send to only those users dat didn't receive the email or to all users. Slect all and send your email. After that the archive is updated.
