Migrating from v5 to v6 - locks up at Newsletter phase (27%)

Is anyone else having trouble migrating data from v5 to v6? It just spins when it hits 27%, which is the Newsletters stage. I'm on cloud hosting with broadband internet; so, it couldn't be that.

Hi,

You could try to turn Joomla's debug mode on and set error reporting to maximum. It might give you some extra info about what is happening.

In case it does not give you any additional info, please raise a support ticket via Acyba's website (https://www.acyba.com/contact-us.html) and include login credentials for your backend and a link to this thread, so they can help you further.

Thank you for the suggestion, Jvstratum, The left menu, collapsed, is hiding the debug text. However, I could see enough info to help troubleshoot.

It appears that when the first migration locked up, it loaded enough information to create errors when making a 2nd attempt (duplicate entries) . I uninstalled V6 and removed all database tables to start again.

After re-installing, I went to the main V6 admin page to migrate again.
