jvstratum Foobar For security reasons I have changed your table prefix to #. Never share your table prefix as it might lead to security breaches. Thank you for understanding.
MyWorld Can someone please tell me how to use this to fix it? I have no idea what to do here. UPDATE #_extensions SET enabled = '0' WHERE name = 'AcyMailing - Joomla integration';
MyWorld Now I'm trying to restore the site from a backup and it's causing all sorts of problems. Very upset about this 🙁
mihha Hi, this is happening because of the way Joomla handles updates as opposed to the full installations All you have to do (for now) is to uninstall AcyMailing 6 from the website (you don't have to delete DB tables) and install using full installation package Regards, Igor
Roosl8 mihha Can I delete com_acymailing in FileZilla without losing my data? I'm new to FileZilla. Never used it before.
MyWorld The problem is, it locked me out of the backend so I couldn't login. I had to restore the site from a backup. So to confirm, is this what we need to do going forward when updating AcyMailing?
MelanieB Hi, just tried to update and problem still exists. Luckily it hasn't locked me out. Maybe take the update down until this has been fixed as creates a whole load of work to put our sites back. Mel
mihha Hi, as I wrote in the previous message, you should update this version using manual upload of an installation package after you removed the AcyMailing from the Joomla using an installation manager
bidit Hi There, our Site is also broken due to the last update. We even cannot access the backend. This is very critical for us, because we just started advertisement for the webpage content (online webinars). Pre-Thanks for help.
MyWorld I'm so afraid to update now 🙁 So just to confirm, is this how we should update? 1) Uninstall AcyMailing 6 from the website 2) Re-install using the latest update? Please confirm because the last time I updated was a nightmare. Thanks!
jvstratum MyWorld You can safely update your Acymailing. If you want to be more confident, create a backup before you start. That way you can quickly revert things if needed.
jvstratum advanguart Hi, Please do the following: using FTP client, delete folder /administrator/components/com_acym and all its subfolders and files you can now access Joomla backend again using Joomla installation manager, uninstall all AcyMailing 6 extension, modules and plugins (don't remove DB tables) download installation package from your account on https://www.acymailing.com and install it again
RoseMountain jvstratum I run in the same problem today. I deleted the folder and subfolder /administrator/components/com_acym bu I still can not enter the site front end and the backend
